97 percent of young adults who age out of the foster care system immediately enter chronic poverty.
HOW IT WORKS
First we work with a referral network to identify a youth, individual, or family in need. We are looking for those aging out of the foster care system, being released from prison, or homeless transitioning into independent housing.
IDENTIFY THE NEED
After a family or individual has been identified and selected, we will host a consultation with them. At this point we will figure out their personal design style, and then source the items that will pull the design together.
CONSULT + SOURCE
Everything having been ordered, chosen, and either donated or paid for with donations, we will pull the room / unit together for the recipient and reveal their new space to them. Hope through design is a powerful tool and motivational energy force.
